Why We Use Cane Sugar Instead of Stevia

Why We Use Cane Sugar Instead of Stevia

We want GROUNDED to taste like chocolate milk and a proper milkshake. Cane sugar is part of the recipe we chose to create that taste.

A choice about flavour

People experience sweetness differently. Some enjoy stevia-sweetened drinks; others prefer the taste of cane sugar. Our choice reflects the flavour we want in GROUNDED, rather than a claim that one ingredient is suitable for everyone.

What we use

GROUNDED uses cane sugar. We do not use stevia, monk fruit, artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols. The carton nutrition panel shows the sugars and energy in each serving.

How to check a label

If you are looking for a drink without stevia, look for names such as stevia extract or steviol glycosides in the ingredients. Always check the exact flavour and format, because recipes can differ.
