Are your products organic?
We use organic ingredients where stated on the pack. Check the ingredients list on each product for the exact details.
Are your products vegan?
Yes. All GROUNDED drinks are 100% vegan and dairy-free.
Why don’t you use artificial sweeteners?
Because we prefer the taste and simplicity of real ingredients. We use cane sugar instead of artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols.
Why do you use sugar?
Because taste comes first. We use cane sugar for a familiar, balanced sweetness, without artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols.
What does “half the sugar” mean?
We compare equal 8 fl oz servings. Both GROUNDED Chocolate Milk flavours contain 11g total sugar per 8.5 fl oz (250ml) carton, equivalent to approximately 10.4g per 8 fl oz.
The specific reference drinks are Nesquik Chocolate Lowfat Milk (8 fl oz bottle): 21g total sugar; Organic Valley Organic 1% Low Fat Chocolate Milk (8 fl oz single-serve carton): 21g; and Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk Box (8 fl oz): 22g.
Based on these rounded, published nutrition figures, GROUNDED has at least 50% less total sugar in an equal serving. This is a total-sugar comparison, not an added-sugar comparison, and does not apply to every chocolate milk. Labels checked October 2026. See our comparison.
Where does your protein come from?
Our protein comes from pea and sunflower protein. Our sunflower protein comes from sunflowers grown in the USA, while our pea protein is European grown. Together they create a smooth plant-based protein blend without dairy.
Does it have all the essential amino acids?
Yes. Our pea and sunflower protein blend contains all nine essential amino acids.
How much protein is in each drink?
Chocolate Milk: 10g per 8.5 fl oz carton. Protein Milkshake: 20g per 16.6 fl oz carton.
Do your drinks contain any allergens?
Contains coconut. Made in a facility that also handles milk, wheat/gluten, soy, peanuts and tree nuts.
Plant-based does not mean allergen-free. Read the full ingredient list and allergen information for your chosen product before ordering, and check the carton before drinking. If you have a food allergy and need clarification, contact info@groundedshakes.com before ordering.
Do you use preservatives or artificial flavors?
No. We don’t use artificial sweeteners, preservatives or artificial flavors. Just real ingredients.
Can I recycle the carton and cap?
The carton and cap are designed to be recyclable. Recycling availability varies by location, so please check with your local recycling program.

Do I need to keep your drinks refrigerated?
GROUNDED chocolate milk is shelf-stable.
For our protein milkshakes, it depends where you bought them. Milkshakes delivered from GROUNDED or Amazon are shelf-stable before opening. Milkshakes bought from the refrigerated section of a grocery store should stay refrigerated. Once opened, always refrigerate and follow the pack instructions.

Where do you deliver?
We currently ship online to addresses in the USA and UK.
Do you ship internationally?
Our online store currently ships within the USA and UK. GROUNDED is also sold through retailers in other countries — check Find in Store for availability.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping on orders over $100 and on all subscriptions.
When will my order arrive?
Standard shipping is typically 3–5 business days. Express is typically 1–3 business days. You’ll receive tracking once your order ships.
What if I miss my delivery?
Check your tracking link for the latest delivery options. Depending on the carrier, you may be able to rearrange delivery, choose a safe place or collect your package.
Can I return my order?
UK:
For UK online orders of unopened, shelf-stable drinks, you can tell us you want to cancel within 14 days after delivery, then return them within a further 14 days. Contact info@groundedshakes.com for the return address. You pay return postage for a change-of-mind return unless applicable law requires otherwise. See our Refund Policy for refund details and exceptions. Your rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are unaffected.
US:
If your order is damaged, incorrect or has a product problem, contact info@groundedshakes.com and we’ll help. For change-of-mind requests, contact us before mailing anything back. See our Refund Policy for the terms for your country. Your applicable consumer rights are unaffected.
